MVEA retired members - Retired from our job, not our profession 

When teachers retire, their passion for education continues.  MVEA-R provides an opportunity for retired teachers to stay in touch with the educational community.  We often join MVEA, CEA, and NEA in efforts to bring about positive support for public education.  We also assist in the election of pro-education candidates in conjunction with policy decision made by MVEA, CEA, and NEA.  

​MVEA-R generally meets 4-6 times per year.  At each meeting, we have a guest speaker who updates members on important issues/changes in local, state, or national public education.
